Retreat at San Giovanni in Venere

The House of Formation of the Fraternity of St. Charles began the new academic year with a retreat in Abruzzo, at the ancient abbey of San Giovanni in Vennere at Fossacesia. During the four days together, accompanied by meditations on the Gospel of Mark, the seminarians and priests had the opportunity to visit the sanctuary of the Eucharistic miracle of Lanciano, the tomb of the apostle Thomas in Ortona and the historical downtown of Vasto.
