After welcoming the 5 new seminarians, the House of Formation began the year with a retreat in Focene, near Rome. The dominant theme was that of fixing one’s gaze on Christ. We enjoyed each other’s company, time for silence, and the visit of the archaeological site of Ostia Antica. Fr. Claudio Lurati, recently appointed Apostolic Vicar of Alexandria in Egypt, came to spend an evening with us.
